Rev. Ernie DeBlasio - PastorFr. Ernie DeBlasio was ordained in 1988 after attending Saint Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born in Naples, Italy but moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1958 with his parents and sister.
He
lived in Chicago, Illinois until 1982 when he relocated to Memphis
and joined the West Tennessee Diocese Before assuming the role of Pastor of Catholic Church of the Resurrection his other assignments have been St. Ann’s Bartlett, St. Anne, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and St. Francis of Assisi.
The Catholic community is full of people whose lives have been impacted positively by Fr. Ernie and his ministry. His homilies are well prepared and normally begin with humorous wisdom which helps to focus his Parishioners' minds to joyfully receive God's Word.
The members of Catholic Church of the Resurrection appreciate his spiritual leadership and the creative and structural changes he has made.
