To someone not familiar with the rich history of this area, one may wonder what is so special about a single-lane concrete bridge with two guardrails.  I will try and give a history of this area known as Butler's Mill by sharing these pictures and articles that I have come across over the years. 

 


This photo believed to be from the 1930's. This building was destroyed by a tornado on April 11, 1939.
