The AN/VRC-94 is Harris VHF tactical FM radio. It uses a PRC-117 with a vehicular power supply and mount. Also available is a 50 W amplifier.
It is FM from 30-90 Mc with 25 Kc spacing. You can set half-duplex channels. It will scan all the programmed channels as well.
It was one of the early generation of frequency hopping radios. Current versions offer full hop capability, built in comsec, and three band capability.
Probably was only used by the Marine Corp.
Primary power is 28 VDC.
