This is what Era Lee had to say about herself and her family

 

      I am an extended member of the Hastings Family.  I am the granddaughter of Molly (Mary Elizabeth) Hastings Green who made her home in Coleman County, Texas.  My mother was Lena Green Ingram.  I am a 77 year old widow and live in Cross Plains, Callahan County, Texas.  I have never visited the east coast.  I have a son, who lives in northern California and a daughter living in Minneseta, so most of my travels have been in those directions

      As my children completed their educations, careers led them in different directions, but we keep in close touch.  I have five grandchildren.  My mother very much loved family connections, and spoke many many times of her aunts, uncles and cousins who lived in the Texas Plains area.  I have had the priveledge of knowing a number of them.
