How long has the school been in operation?
The school has been in operation since 2003.
Has
the school been accredited?
The school is working on being accredited by the
National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS).
What
are the school's admission requirements?
For admission, applicants must:
- Be 17 years or older;
- Completed and passed at least two (2) years of high school;
or
- Completed and passed the
GED test with a score of at least thirty-eight (38).
How
do I enroll at the school?
You can call administration office at (901)
461-5364 or (901) 578-3995 to make appointment. The following documents are
required to be provided for enrollment:
- A high school transcript or GED test score;
- A copy of a photo ID (Driver License or ID Card) or birth
certificate;
- A copy of Social Security Card; and
- A down payment of $150.00.
Can
I transfer the hours I have earned from previous schools?
YES. However, you must be interviewed and/or
evaluated by our instructors prior to starting formal training at our school.
Also, a transcript (certification of hours) from your previous school(s) is
required.
What
are the school's hours?
The school is open for classes as follows:
Morning classes: Monday -
Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Evening classes: Monday -
Friday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Make-up date:
Saturday
8:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Does
the school offer evening classes?
YES. Please see our school evening classes schedule right above.
Can
I go to school part-time?
YES. However, you must attend at least 56
hours per month in order to be considered making satisfactory progress.
How
long does it take to complete a class?
You can view the required training time for
each program offered by the school in the Courses page.
What
are the costs of the classes?
You can visit our school and get a free
catalog and/or a brochure which give you all information about the school
including tuition and other related costs.
Is
financial aid available?
YES. Financial
aid is available to those who qualify.
Can
I work out a payment plan with the school?
YES. Besides a mandatory $150.00 down payment, the student can make a
monthly payment plan with the school. The school’s minimum payment requirement
is $100.00 per month.
Are
scholarships available?
YES. The school awards 3 academic scholarships to qualified high school
graduates each year. The scholarship will cover a portion of the school tuition.

Does
the school provide placement services?
YES. The school maintains contacts in the beauty industry to assist students
in job placement. We do not guarantee employment, however, upon completion of
their prescribed course of study each student will be provided with a list of
barber shops/salons that are interested in hiring graduates.

are the school’s outcome rates?
The school’s outcome rates in the year of 2004 are:
