Why do you shoot videos of Comic Conventions?

Well I just happen to be attending the conventions and figure that it would be great if others could be there and see the show and meet the creators. Since I love shooting and editing video is was the next logical step.

What programs do you use to edit the footage and create the DVD's?

I use Premiere Pro to capture and edit the footage. I'm about to use Premiere Pro 2 or 3, and have tried out Premiere Pro 3 Elements which also works great for capturing the HD footage. I create the DVD's with Adobe Encore 2.0. And I use Photoshop CS2 to create some of the manipulated slide images and some of the titles.

I see you have Slide Shows on your DVD's what camera did you use to shoot them?

I have a digital Canon D-50 with a 28-300 Tamron Zoom lens. This is a great camera and it has a built in flash.

When will that crazy, funny DVD of Dean LeCrone vs. The Mutants of Comic-Con be finally finished? Haven't you been working on that for almost a year?

Yes that movie is now done. But the extra features will take another 2 weeks. The DVD is already in the STORE on this site, for Pre-Order, as I know it will be done around May 15th. More about the movie, how it was made, and who is Dean LeCrone will be described here on the site in the IN-PRODUCTION area later this week. And yes it took almost a year, but most of the movie was edited with Dean by my side way back in September of 2006.
