OPTOMAP® is the lastest and greatest eye health examination for your eyes. It
captures a digital image of the retina and helps our doctors better examine your
eyes for any diseases.
Optomap is something of a revolution in eyecare. It is a unique retinal
screening service which gives us access to areas of the retina (the surface at
the back of the eye) which, due to the limits of earlier technology, were
previously difficult to easily reach.
Many eye diseases, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy or retinal tears and
detachments, if detected at an early stage, can be treated successfully without
total loss of vision. Now with the Optomap retinal examination we can offer this
screening service as part of your standard eyesight examination.

service” with your health plan, meaning that you would be responsible for the
charges. Drs. Holcomb And Associates, strongly believes the Optomap Retinal Exam is
an essential part of your comprehensive eye exam and highly recommends it for
all patients once per year.
