Call Congress
 
I know most of them are bought and paid for, but what else can we do?  Call your Senators and Congressional Representative and order them not to support whatever bailout plan Paulson and Bush present to Congress. This is the run up to the Iraq War all over again. We all remember how the Administration successfully pressured Congress to quickly pass the Joint Resolution to Authorize Force, giving Bush wide authority to go after the WMD threat in Iraq. All of which turned out to be mostly administration lies. We all know what happened next. Our current financial crisis is not made up. But giving Paulson and Bush complete authority (and immunity) to deal with this crisis is just plain old stupid and dangerous.
