AM History Profile: WTSK

History:

Has had the WTUG calls dating back into the 50's. Has always had a black-oriented programming format. In the 80's and 90's the station was black oldies... More recently became WTSK (Tusk, a reference Big Al, the mascot of the University of Alabama I suppose). The format changed to black gospel.  The station is currently owned by Apex Broadcasting, and features Brother Fraddell "A" Amerson on mornings, Brother Eddie Mack in the evenings, Brother "J" Hicks and Minister Chris King.
