History:

The Hutchens Company put this station on the air as WBHS on 1200 kHz. It moved to 1230 kHz around 1941 and the calls were changed to WBHP, reflecting the radio friendly name of the owner, William Buster Harvey Pollard. Was country formatted in the 1970's and perhaps had a short stint as either country or classic country in the late 90's before settling on a talk/news format. Currently owned by Clear Channel.
