Yields: 24 Servings


Ingredients

CAKE
2 sticks Margarine
4 tablespoon Cocoa (heaping tablespoons)
1 cup Water
2 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
2 ea Egg
1/2 cup Sour cream
1 teaspoon Baking soda

ICING
1 stick Margarine
4 tablespoon Cocoa
5 tablespoon Milk
1 box Powdered sugar


 
Instructions
For Cake:
Combine margarine, cocoa, water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add flour, sugar, and salt; mix well. Stir in eggs, sour cream, and baking soda. Spread batter in a large jelly roll pan or cookie sheet (with sides). Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

While cake is baking, make the icing:
Comgine the margerine, cocoa and milk. Brink to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the box of powdered sugar. Spread icing on the cake while warm. Add nuts if desired.

Hint: if you don't have sour cream, you can substitute: Put 1 tablespoon of vinegar in a half-cup measure. Fill cup the rest of the way with milk. Stir.
