Minutes of General Membership Meeting

Meeting was called to order by President Fred Masterson.

None.

Treasurers report

Treasurer Dawson Moore reported that balance in checking account is $1,265.07.

Dawson further reported that the annual EAA Chapter General Liability insurance premium and National EAA fee total of $227 was due and would be paid immediately.

New Business

The following items were raised:
  1. It was nominated and votes approved that the following members would serve as Officers for FY 11.
  2. It was agreed to change the signatories on the bank account as needed to reflect the above slate of officers.
  3. It was agreed that the scheduled meetings would continue to alternate between Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM. The next three scheduled meetings are as follows:
  4. Bill Sparks agreed to poll the membership on acceptability of planned meeting times.
  5. Bill reported that he was aware of a special needs child that would benefit from a short local flight. He is to coordinate scheduling this flightand recruiting a pilot and plane.
  6. Membership application was accepted from Eric Hey. WELCOME ERIC.
  7. Jim Cawthon and Fred Masterson chaired a very successful live EAA Webinar on ``Just say no to useless maintenance'' January 19th at the Shelby County Airport conference room with big screen and email participation. 23 attended. We hope to have more of these.

Project Reports

No new projects announced by members.

Program

A video program ``America Takes Flight: 1925 to 1931 National Air Tours'' was presented by Fred.
