Goliath and Bebe's World is a no-kill shelter established in 2001 by Nedra Wooley and Joyce Walker in response to the need for a no-kill alternative for animal rescue and adoption in the St. Augustine, Florida area.

The group has a number of volunteers who foster cats and dogs, preparing them for eventual adoption to 'forever homes'. Lisa Hoff is the adoptions coordinator. She is the one who does many of the thankless jobs necessary for the smooth running of the adoptions.

Every Saturday and Sunday we adopt out cats and dogs at the local Petco. The goal is to find 'forever homes' for the furkids, homes where they can find the love and care they never had experienced in their lives before. There are several volunteers who help make this a reality.

A number of our adoptees have experienced illness and abuse. They deserve to have a good life that is free of cruelty and pain.

If you have ever thought of adopting a pet, PLEASE consider adopting from a local no-kill group such as Goliath and Bebe's World. These furkids appreciate the care and love of a good home more than you can imagine. In our own home we currently have 8 cats and 1 bunny, all of them rescues. They have given back more love to us than we can ever give them!
