Altamaha Classic Cruisers
About Us and a Little History
  • More of a friendly fellowship than a serious club for car owners in the local area.
  • Open to Street Rods, Customs, Muscle Cars, Antiques, Trucks ands Special Interest vehicles.
  • We are a non profit organization that supports several local charities.
  • We encourage participation with other clubs in the area.
  • In 2000 about six or seven cars gathered at Sonic one saturday night. As time passed the numbers increased very quickly and talk began about forming a local club. As fall gave way to winter the girls wanted to move inside and many wanted hot coffee. Hardees had just finished a new location and talks soon moved us to that location. Monthly Cruise-Ins now bring between 30 & 65 cars/trucks. Our members are from Wayne, Appling, Long. Glynn, Tattnall, Brantley and Liberty Counties.

Our first actual car show was held behind Kentucky Fried Chicken on First Street and proved that we needed a larger venue. The 2nd show was at the Jaycee Fairgrounds which proved to far for mainstream attendance. Finally, the move was made to Downtown Jesup and the shows "Cruisin' to the Oldies" & "Arch Festival Car Show" continue to bring more people and great vehicles to downtown Jesup.

The club has 40 plus members and continues to grow.
We encourage all those in the community to come out to a Cruise-In or show and enjoy some great music and wonderful cars & trucks.

We promote "Safe Happy Motoring in Style"
