Moondance

Dark, cloudless night...
The stars shine brightly on the earth below,
And a single furry figure pads silently through the trees.
She has always been there.
She will be forevermore...
But Moondance is most often seen
When that great, gray orb hangs full in the black sky.
A quiet wolf, she rarely howls,
But her eyes shimmer with thought.
She roams this realm
With her packmates, Starlight and Dreamchaser.
No mortal can tame her wild heart.
She appears not in daylight,
Yet she never truly leaves.
A wolf in the shadows, dark night’s friend...
The mysterious Moondance.
