Loneliness

Loneliness..
An empty chasm opens up under my soul
And swallows me.
Falling through Time and Space,
I'm lost without hope.
But Death cannot overpower me.
Whether by my side or a hundred miles away,
She still comforts me.
I see her everywhere.
She is in my thoughts constantly.
Her soft, soothing voice echoes in my ears,
And her gentle touch heals the wounds of my spirit.
We will reunite.
I promise this...
But until that time,
There is nothing..
But loneliness.
