Description
Fillet Zero is an AutoLisp program with a command named
F0
, by CadToolChest, which functions within AutoCAD 2002, and later (possibly earlier). It Fillets two objects with radius set to zero, which causes the endpoints of the objects to meet at an abrupt corner.
Parallel lines are filleted with a semi-circle even though the fillet radius is zero (a feature of the AutoCAD Fillet command). The command automatically repeats allowing for multiple filleting. The fillet radius is reset to its original value when the command ends. Essentially, this command does the exact same thing as the standard AutoCAD Fillet command, without the hassle of manipulating the fillet radius, and with the added bonus of automatic repeat.
Command Prompts:
The following are the prompts issued by the F0 command:
Select 1st object to fillet zero/Undo/<Quit>:
Select 2nd object to fillet zero/<Repick 1st>:
At the first prompt, use one of the options or select any object that the AutoCAD Fillet command supports.
At the second prompt, use the option, or select another object that the AutoCAD Fillet command supports.
If AutoCAD is unable to fillet the selected objects, a message will be sent to the text window and either the first or second prompt will be issued depending on the message and which version of AutoCAD is being used. If successful, the first prompt is reissued.
Prompt Options:
Quit = Exit the program.
Repick = Reissue the first prompt.
Undo = Undo the last fillet created since the program started.
