Description

BWRed is an AutoLisp program with a command named BWRED, by CadToolChest FREE, which functions within AutoCAD 2002, and later (possibly earlier).  It creates 2D and 3D Concentric and Eccentric Butt Weld Pipe Reducers.  2D Reducers are a single polyline forming the outline and 2 lines at each end of the taper.  3D Reducers consists of two cylinders and a sliced cone(s) that are unioned to form a single AutoCAD 3DSOLID object.  2D outlines and 3D Objects are placed on the current layer with the current color and line type.  If the AutoLisp variable BWRED-HIDDEN-LAYER is assigned a string value, the layer is set to that layer for the I.D. of 2D reducers.

Dimensional and Wall Thickness data are contained within the AutoLisp file.  Sizes can be added or removed, and the data can be freely edited as desired.

The reducer type, size, and rating are specified in a dialog box.  The points defining the location and orientation (PT1, PT2 & PT3) are specified by picking points after the dialog box is closed.
